It certainly takes an extraordinary mind – and a sweet tooth – to make a living of it, but William Henry Tavener was one such character. In 1904, William turned his passion for pickles and sauces into an obsession for boiled sweets. It’s an obsession that still runs through the Taveners’ factories today.
In the years since we’ve acquired a taste for a whole range of marvellous confectionery, all made with 100% natural colours and flavours.
Liquorice Allsorts, Coconut Mushrooms, Wine Gums, Jelly Babies, Sour Lemon Drops –great sweets that helped build a great nation.
